Job Description

Seeking two non-union Caucasian actors to serve as cover performers for the full-length stage drama “Breaking the Trust”, part of the Dream UP Festival 2025. Actors will be trained to step in for key roles and must be available for all rehearsals and performance dates.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend and follow the full rehearsal process

• Learn and be ready to cover multiple principal roles

• Coordinate with the production team for individualized cover rehearsal time

• Remain available during performance run for potential emergency substitutions

Roles Casting

1. Female Cover

• Age Range: 55–70

• Will cover four sister roles

• Must be able to learn and switch between multiple character arcs

2. Male Cover

• Age Range: 45–60

• Will cover two roles: a son and a husband

• Requires strong memorization and quick adaptability

Compensation

• Female Cover: $400 for entire rehearsal and performance period

• Male Cover: $200 for entire rehearsal and performance period

• Additional Pay: If a cover performs, a prorated performance fee will be added
