Urgent First Assistant Director (1st AD) Needed for Production in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Job Description:
A production filming in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area is urgently seeking an experienced First Assistant Director (1st AD) to replace a crew member who had to step away due to a family emergency. The selected candidate will begin as soon as possible, with prep and location scouting taking place this weekend before production begins next week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the First Assistant Director during production.
- Participate in prep and location scouting activities.
- Coordinate with the production team to keep filming on schedule.
- Support daily production operations on set.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a First Assistant Director preferred.
- Available to begin immediately.
- Able to participate in weekend prep and scouting.
- Local to Grand Rapids, MI, or willing to travel from nearby cities such as Detroit or Chicago.
Compensation:
