Job Description:
We are looking for a professional “wedding style” DJ for an ACTRA feature film titled Tiny Fugitives. The selected DJ will be responsible for providing their own equipment and performing as a DJ in a wedding scene. This is a direct continuity role over two days of filming, and ACTRA members are preferred, but we are open to all union statuses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as a wedding-style DJ during filming.
- Provide your own DJ equipment for the shoot.
- Ensure your equipment is functioning properly throughout the filming.
- Work in direct continuity for two consecutive days of shooting.
- Collaborate with the production team to align your performance with the scene’s requirements.
Requirements:
- Must have experience as a professional DJ with wedding-style performances.
- Ability to provide your own DJ equipment (an additional rental fee will be provided).
- Must be available for both filming days.
- Open to all union statuses (ACTRA preferred).
- Must submit recent photos (one with and one without sunglasses, plus a photo in action with your DJ equipment).
Compensation:
- Standard Special Skills Extra (SSE) rate plus $40 for rental of equipment.
- Shuttle available from Kipling Station if needed.
- 2 days of direct continuity work on a feature film.

- Appearance Restrictions: No colored hair, visible tattoos, piercings, eyeglasses, fake nails, fake lashes, or other modern cosmetic attributes. Facial hair is allowed but may be styled or altered by the makeup team.
- Willingness to Be Styled: Actors may have wigs or hair extensions applied as needed for the role.
