Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum pro rata

Reports to: Senior Creative Producer

Department: Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement

Location: Stratford, London w/ high-flex (1 – 2 days per week in the office) – regular national travel will be expected within this role.

Employment type: 6 month fixed-term contract

Working hours: 14 hours per week. Evening and weekend work may be required within this role.

You will deliver successful photography solutions by being a confident and skilful Photographer that strives for excellence – with brilliant ideas, strong technical skills, and creative problem solving.

 

What will I be doing?

  • Leading on photographic shoots for CRUK commissioning teams. Respond to a wide variety of briefs, providing creative direction, agreeing outputs and deliverables, and delivering solutions.
  • Collaborating with the creative team to ensure all photography briefs meet the needs of broader audiences and channels, stretching a brief to meet wider objectives and efficiencies where appropriate and importantly encouraging the reuse and repurpose of existing photo and visual assets where possible
  • Managing new projects through all stages of planning and execution
  • Producing high quality, professional images ensuring that they are shot, lit, exposed correctly and in line with CRUK’s brand
  • Managing the post-production of visual assets and photography, ensuring all selected shots are processed correctly, retouched and checked for quality for final asset delivery
  • Ensuring all images are filed, logged and backed up appropriately in the file management system
  • Being an authority and expert on photography, leading and supporting on the management and creation of resources to support your practice and commissioning teams
  • Leading the way in adhering to the systems, processes and tools that support the operations of the Creative Team (e.g. commissioning process, briefing forms and templates, resourcing systems, evaluation and reporting) to ensure efficient and effective delivery, and lead the way in ensuring best practice in customer service.

 

What skills are you looking for?

  • Significant experience and a strong portfolio of a wide variety of photography styles and skills (from lifestyle, reportage, event, headshot/portrait and product, for wide range of applications including advertorial and marketing use)
  • Highly proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar photo editing software
  • Strong understanding of studio flash photography and latest equipment and kit
  • Keen attention to detail which is maintained when under pressure
  • Relevant experience of working with contributors in sensitive circumstances, e.g. people affected by cancer and their families, and ability to quickly build trust and enable powerful and emotional moments to be captured on camera
  • A strong collaborator who can quickly build relationships with key stakeholders with demonstrable skills in influencing and negotiating with people across all teams and levels to grow the creativity and ambition of work
  • Skills and experience with absorbing and applying constructive feedback from peers and commissioning teams at all levels
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Connected with external photography trends and technical developments to continually inspire creative excellence and innovation in-house.

In this unique role, you’ll support the Talent Acquisition function while using your creative skills to capture and produce engaging video and photo content that highlights our people, culture, and internship program. Support content posting on Handshake, LinkedIn, and other platforms to drive candidate engagement.

Assist with creative storytelling initiatives to showcase employee culture and HR programs.

Collaborate with TA team members to brainstorm fresh content ideas aligned with our recruiting strategy.

Provide on-site support at internship program events and other HR activities to document key moments.

Assist with other Talent Acquisition and HR projects as needed.

You Have:

Completed at least two years toward a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Media/Film, or a related field.

BY NEXT SUMMER, YOU WILL BE:either a rising junior or rising senior in your undergrad program

Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, employer branding, and digital storytelling.

Experience with video production, editing, and/or photography (coursework or portfolio preferred).

Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Handshake.

Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other content editing software is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

WTXF Fox 29 is seeking a talented and dynamic Freelance News Videographer to join our team. This on-call position involves covering general news assignments in a fast-paced environment, utilizing electronic camera and editing equipment to deliver compelling stories.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality videos for news stories.
  • Apply appropriate techniques for each assignment, including lighting, audio, and editing.
  • Utilize non-linear editing software and demonstrate strong computer skills.
  • Operate live ENG remote equipment, including ENG trucks and bonded cellular devices.
  • Perform field editing and manage various camera/media formats.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in news videography.
  • Strong skills in videography, lighting, audio, and non-linear editing.
  • Experience with live ENG remote operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
  • College degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Position Summary

The Events Coordinator is responsible for providing logistical and tactical support to the Events and Corporate Communications team as well as adult programming (Squash, Racquetball, Pickleball, and UHoops). This role will support all adult sports programming within the club to ensure members are able to enjoy a successful and robust program.   • Provides project management support for club event marketing campaigns
