Job Description
The Dinner Detective, America’s largest murder mystery dinner show, is seeking performers for paid acting opportunities. The production is looking for actors, improvisers, performers, and stand-up comedians to join its touring entertainment company. Selected talent will participate in interactive live performances that combine comedy, improvisation, and mystery entertainment for audiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform in live murder mystery dinner theater productions.
- Interact with audience members in an engaging and entertaining manner.
- Improvise and adapt to live performance situations.
- Portray a variety of characters throughout the show.
- Collaborate with fellow performers and production staff.
- Attend rehearsals and scheduled performances as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Actors, performers, improvisers, and stand-up comedians are encouraged to apply.
- Strong improvisational and comedic skills preferred.
- Especially seeking performers who can portray characters age 35 and older.
- All ethnicities are encouraged to audition.
- Must submit a recent photo and résumé for consideration.
Compensation Details
