No Square Theatre is holding additional auditions for Priscilla Queen of the Desert: The Musical. Casting directors are seeking talented performers for various ensemble and featured roles in this vibrant stage production. This is a great opportunity for singers, dancers, and actors to join a dynamic theatrical performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform in live musical theatre productions
- Learn and execute choreography, vocals, and blocking
- Participate in rehearsals and scheduled performances
- Collaborate with directors, choreographers, and cast members
- Maintain energy and professionalism throughout the run
Requirements
- Divas / Ensemble: Female, 20s–40s, strong pop vocal belt
- Cynthia / Ensemble: Female, 20s (traditionally Filipina, open to all while avoiding stereotypes)
- Shirley / Ensemble: Female, 20s–30s
- Marion / Ensemble: Female, 30s
- Ensemble Males: 20s–30s, must be versatile and able to play various roles
- Benji: Boy to play 11 years old (unchanged voice; no dancing required)
- Must be able to sing, dance, and act (except where specified)
- Prepared to perform an upbeat song, cold read, and dance at audition
Compensation
- $100 stipend
