Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare a detailed preliminary production budget for a half-hour comedy series

  • Collaborate with producers and creative teams to ensure budget aligns with production goals

  • Apply expertise in union rates (SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE) and compliance standards

  • Manage budgetary needs across cast, crew, and resources

  • Contribute to scheduling and pre-production planning to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in producing or line producing 30-minute television comedies

  • Strong knowledge of union contracts and regulations

  • Ability to manage budgets at a network level and deliver accurate breakdowns

  • Established industry connections with comedy television creators preferred

Compensation

  • Paid consulting fee with potential to transition into a full-time Line Producer or UPM role on the project
