The production is looking for a stylist skilled in period hair styling, including volume sets and vintage-inspired looks that translate well on camera. This role is ideal for professionals with experience working with textured hair and historical hairstyles who can collaborate closely with the film’s creative team to achieve an authentic period aesthetic.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and style authentic 1960s-era hairstyles for principal talent.

• Create period-accurate volume sets and vintage-inspired looks suitable for film production.

• Work with textured hair and ensure hairstyles photograph well on camera.

• Maintain hair continuity throughout filming.

• Collaborate with the director and production team to match the visual style of the film.

• Provide necessary styling tools and manage on-set touch-ups during production.

Requirements

• Professional hair stylist with experience in film, television, or photography productions.

• Strong knowledge of 1960s hair styling techniques and period looks.

• Experience working with textured hair and vintage-inspired styles.

• Ability to work efficiently on set and maintain continuity across scenes.

• Must be a local hire able to work in the Atlanta area.

• Portfolio demonstrating relevant work, especially period styling or textured hair, preferred.
