Casting Call: Feature Film – Seeking Various Day-Player Roles

Role: Coach Campbell

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented actor to play the role of Coach Campbell in an upcoming feature film. Coach Campbell is a pivotal character who leads the Jamaican Rugby team, The Warriors. Portrayed as a man in his late 40s, he brings a fatherly touch to his coaching, earning him respect and admiration from his players. This role requires someone who can embody strength, warmth, and leadership, guiding young athletes both on and off the field.

Responsibilities:

• Portray the character of Coach Campbell with depth and authenticity.

• Participate in rehearsals as scheduled by the director.

• Collaborate with other cast members to create a believable and dynamic team environment.

• Follow directorial guidance to fulfill the vision of the film.

• Be available for all filming dates as required in mid-June 2024.

Requirements:

• Male actor, ideally aged 40-50, to fit the role of Coach Campbell.

• Strong acting skills with the ability to convey a range of emotions and leadership qualities.

• Previous experience in film or television preferred, particularly in roles that involve leadership or mentorship.

• Must be currently based in Jamaica or willing to relocate for the duration of the shoot.

• Sports knowledge or experience, particularly in rugby, is a plus but not mandatory.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay rate, to be disclosed upon further progression in the casting process.

• Travel expenses and accommodations covered if relocation is necessary for the duration of the shoot.
