Ideal candidates are comfortable working in a narrative setting and shooting content designed specifically for vertical platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the director and core crew to execute a polished proof of concept

• Work efficiently in a fast-moving production environment

• Support high-quality storytelling through technical expertise

• Maintain professionalism and adaptability on set

Available Crew Roles

• 2nd Camera Operator

  • Assist with camera coverage and setup

  • Comfortable shooting vertical-format content

  • Narrative experience is a plus

• Sound / Boom Operator

  • Capture clean, professional-quality audio

  • Operate boom and manage on-set sound needs

  • Experience with dialogue-driven scenes preferred

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work locally in Los Angeles

• Prior on-set experience in film or digital productions

• Comfortable working collaboratively in a small crew environment

• Reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented

Job Responsibilities

• Create two contrasting looks for on-screen talent:

  • Glamorous, polished 1950s pageant-style fantasy looks

  • Natural, tired, realistic “real-world” looks

• Help visually communicate the contrast between fantasy and reality through hair and makeup design

• Collaborate closely with the director and costume department to ensure visual continuity

• Provide touch-ups and maintain looks throughout filming days

Requirements

• Experience or strong interest in stylized, symbolic storytelling

• Ability to recreate vintage-inspired glam hair and makeup looks

• Comfortable working on set in a collaborative, student/indie film environment

• Reliable, creative, and detail-oriented

• Open to unpaid projects that offer credit and portfolio-building experience
