Job Description
A new immersive documentary and installation project is now casting Indian girls and young women based in New South Wales and Queensland. The production is seeking participants from the Indian diaspora who are interested in sharing personal stories and experiences connected to identity, culture, and growing up in Australia. This project explores the complexities and contradictions faced by teenagers and young adults from Indian backgrounds through authentic storytelling and creative collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in interviews and documentary-style storytelling sessions
- Share personal experiences and perspectives on camera
- Collaborate with filmmakers and creative teams during production
- Contribute to an immersive documentary and installation project
- Engage in thoughtful and authentic conversations throughout filming
Requirements
- Female-identifying or femme non-binary individuals
- Ages 15–25
- Indian diaspora based in NSW or QLD
- Must have been born in Australia or moved to Australia at a young age
- Comfortable discussing personal experiences and identity
- Open to participating in documentary-style productions
