Actor with Wheelchair Experience

Job Details: We seek a talented mid-20s Black actor with authentic wheelchair experience for an upcoming project. While it is not mandatory, it is fascinating if the candidate has a background as a U.S. military veteran.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the assigned character with authenticity, depth, and emotional resonance.
  • Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members to bring the script to life.
  • Participate in rehearsals and contribute to character development discussions.
  • Be prepared and punctual for all scheduled shooting days.
  • Adapt to the unique challenges of working on location in Canada and Italy.

Requirements:

  • Genuine wheelchair user with proficient mobility skills.
  • Age range: mid-20s.
  • Identify as Black.
  • Strong acting abilities and the capacity to convey emotions effectively.
  • Availability for a 4-day shoot in both Canada and Italy.

Compensation:

  • The project operates under a SAG interim agreement, ensuring competitive compensation in line with industry standards.
  • Travel, accommodation, and per diem expenses for shooting days in Canada and Italy will be covered.

A real people casting project is seeking Vancouver-based individuals who speak English with an authentic native Irish or Australian accent. This opportunity is designed for everyday people rather than professional performers, making it ideal for individuals who can bring a genuine voice, personality, and natural delivery to the project.

  • Participate in an in-person screening in Vancouver

Compensation

  • $125 CAD per hour for attending the screening

  • Express opinions clearly through gestures and expressions.

Requirements:
