“By Any Means” Starring Mark Wahlberg Open Casting Call

Now Casting: Featured Background Talent for Historical Crime Thriller

A major upcoming feature film is seeking featured background actors to join the cast of By Any Means, an intense FBI crime thriller starring Academy Award nominees Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter) and Sterling K. Brown (American Fiction). Filming in Georgia, this project brings together a powerful blend of history, justice, and gripping drama, directed by the visionary Elegance Bratton (The Inspection).

About the Film
By Any Means is inspired by true events and set in 1966 Mississippi. The story follows a covert FBI operation where a mafia hitman is recruited by J. Edgar Hoover’s bureau to team up with a young Black FBI agent. Together, they hunt down those responsible for the murders of civil rights leaders. Based on the Black List screenplay CI34 by Sascha Penn and Theodore Witcher, the script has been refined with contributions from Bratton himself.

Behind the Scenes Excellence The project is produced by industry heavyweights including Hammerstone Studios (Barbarian), Thunder Road Films, Freedom Principle, and North.Five.Six. Producers include Alex Lebovici, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Chester Algernal Gordon, Stephen Levinson, and Mark Wahlberg through his Closest to the Hole Productions. U.S. distribution is being handled by WME Independent and CAA Media Finance, with international sales by North.Five.Six.
