Casting Call: Lead Singer for Children’s Animation Series
Job Detail: We are currently seeking talented and vibrant singers to audition for a lead role in an upcoming children’s animation series. This exciting opportunity is open to individuals who are passionate about bringing animated characters to life with their voice and musical ability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide the singing voice for the lead character in multiple episodes of the series.
- Collaborate with the music director and sound engineers to achieve the desired vocal performance.
- Participate in script read-throughs and bring creativity to the character portrayal.
- Work with the production team to ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Male singers aged 18-21.
- Must resonate with fun, silliness, and spontaneity, and be able to convey warmth and joy through singing.
- A supportive elder sibling or friend persona that is relatable to children.
- Ability to impart wisdom and guidance in a comforting and engaging manner.
- Must reside in the Greater Toronto Area and be legally able to work in Canada.
- Must pay Ontario taxes.
- Strong singing abilities with a knack for various styles and genres.
- Prior voice acting experience is an asset but not required.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay based on experience.
- Credit in the series.
