A film festival is seeking experienced and passionate industry professionals to serve as judges for an upcoming event. Selected judges will play a key role in evaluating film submissions and supporting emerging filmmakers by providing thoughtful feedback and ratings. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in film production who are interested in contributing to the creative community.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate submitted films across various categories
- Provide detailed ratings and constructive feedback for each film
- Attend and participate in festival screenings
- Collaborate with fellow judges and festival organizers as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 feature film credits in any major production role
- Strong understanding of film production, storytelling, and cinematic techniques
- Ability to attend full festival screening days
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Passion for supporting independent and emerging filmmakers
