Job Description
A unique paid opportunity is seeking a food-loving trend scout and ice cream taster to help discover emerging flavors, cultural trends, and consumer interests. The selected candidate will explore what people are eating, drinking, sharing, and talking about while conducting sensory evaluations of dairy-based ice cream products. This three-month independent contractor role is ideal for an outgoing, curious creator with strong social instincts and a passion for food, culture, branding, and trend discovery.
Job Responsibilities
- Track food and flavor trends across global markets.
- Identify culturally relevant and socially engaging food trends.
- Report insights on what consumers are eating, drinking, sharing, and discussing.
- Conduct tastings and create social-friendly content around the experience.
- Evaluate ice cream based on taste, aroma, texture, and other sensory qualities.
- Contribute ideas for new flavors and marketing concepts.
- Participate in team check-ins to discuss trends, discoveries, and findings.
- Help influence future flavor development and campaign direction.
Requirements
- Deep interest in food, culture, flavors, and trend discovery.
- Strong understanding of social media and emerging cultural trends.
- Comfortable documenting and communicating findings.
- Outgoing, curious, and creative personality.
- Must be able to taste and perform sensory evaluations of dairy-based ice cream products.
- English-speaking; additional languages are a plus.
- Interest in entrepreneurship, brand building, or product development is a plus.
- Open to creators and applicants from non-traditional professional backgrounds.
- Must be available for a three-month independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $10,000 per month.
