Ready Set (ReadySet.co) is looking for a full-time VP, Executive Producer to help us build a New Advertising Industry Everyone can Love. 

What does a VP, Executive Producer at Ready Set DO you ask? Well let us tell you!

Sitting on the executive team and overseeing multiple departments: Casting, UGC Production, Studio Production and Shipping + Logistics, you’ll be responsible for everything to do with producing the direct response footage that goes into our ads. Based in Los Angeles, some of the things you and your teams will be working on include: 

  • Overseeing studio production teams and directors on at our downtown LA soundstage
  • Developing and implementing a budgeting process for studio production, UGC production and shipping for UGC talent and working to get the most out of the investment we’re putting in
  • Hiring a world-class team to execute as we scale production at a rate that keeps pace with our 300% year over year rate of revenue growth
  • Partnering with our tagging and product+engineering teams on building the best machine to produce great work quickly that feeds into our technology 
  • Supporting your Shipping + Logistics Lead select and build out warehouse space on the same site
  • So much more! As with anyone hired into such a senior role (or any role) at our company, we give you the keys to the car. 

About Us: At Ready Set, we create a “Smart Creative Feed” of video ads for paid social every week, for clients like SmileDirectClub, hims, Weight Watchers, NordicTrack and more. Our founders spun out of Airbnb and Nanigans, respectively.

Job Description
A new student film pilot is seeking a skilled and motivated 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC) to join the crew and assist with pulling focus during production. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate on a creative project, gain hands-on experience on set, and earn IMDB credit for your work. The film is non-union and designed for emerging professionals looking to build their portfolios while working in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pull focus and support the Director of Photography during filming

  • Assist with camera setup and maintenance throughout production

  • Collaborate with crew to maintain shot consistency and camera performance

  • Adapt to schedule changes and contribute to an efficient shooting process

Requirements

  • Prior experience or training as a 1st AC preferred

  • Strong understanding of camera focus systems and tools

  • Ability to work with a student team and flexible shoot schedule

  • Must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles

  • Open availability between shoot dates or willingness to communicate your schedule
