Job Description
A paid commercial is casting real filmmakers and crew members in the Greater Toronto Area for an upcoming production. This non-union opportunity is looking for outgoing professionals ages 18–25 who work on film sets and are comfortable appearing on camera while doing what they do best. No acting experience is required, making this a great opportunity to showcase your real-world skills in a national commercial.
Job Responsibilities
- Appear as yourself in a commercial.
- Perform authentic filmmaking or crew-related activities on camera.
- Follow direction from the production team.
- Attend wardrobe, rehearsal, and filming if selected.
- Work collaboratively with the cast and crew.
Requirements
- Ages 18–25.
- Real filmmakers or crew members.
- No acting experience required.
- Outgoing and comfortable being filmed.
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must live in the Greater Toronto Area and be able to film in Toronto.
- Available for audition, wardrobe fitting, rehearsal, and filming if selected.
Compensation
- $75 for wardrobe appointment.
- $600 per filming day.
- Additional usage payment of $3,000–$6,000 if featured in the final commercial.
- Total potential compensation: $675–$6,675.
