Casting Call: Project Patio Umbrella – Non-Union

Job Description: We are casting for Project Patio Umbrella, a non-union project with a one-day shoot scheduled between July 20-22, 2024, in Montreal, QC. This project is open to local Montreal residents, as well as residents of Ottawa (note: travel expenses are not included). We are particularly looking for real couples and mother/baby duos to participate.

Roles Available:

  1. SOC – Mother

    • Female, Age 25 to 35.

    • Real mother/baby duos are encouraged to submit.

  2. Background – Baby

    • Male or Female, Age 6-12 months.

    • Real mother/baby duos are encouraged to submit.

  3. SOC – Twins

    • Male or Female, Age 4 to 8.

  4. Background – Father

    • Male, Age 37 to 47.

  5. SOC – Elderly Couple

    • Male or Female, Age 60 to 75.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned roles with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Follow directions from the director and production team.

  • Be available for the entire duration of the scheduled shoot day.

  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude on set.

Requirements:

  • Must be available for one day of shooting between July 20-22, 2024.

  • Must be a local resident of Montreal, QC, or Ottawa, ON.

  • Open to all ethnicities.

  • Specific roles have additional requirements (see below).

Compensation:

  • SOC Roles: $600/day flat (includes session and buyout).

  • Background Roles: $250/day flat.

  • Market: Canada, 1-year Web/Social.

  • Participate in a one-hour promotional shoot celebrating Taylor Swift and her fans.

Casting Metal Detectorist for Insurance Campaign

Job Description: An insurance company campaign is looking for a skilled and experienced Metal Detectorist to participate in an upcoming commercial shoot in the Toronto area. This non-union production seeks an individual who owns and can operate their own metal detecting equipment to be featured in the campaign.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your own metal detecting equipment to perform searches in designated areas as directed by the production team.
  • Follow the guidance of the director and other crew members to capture the necessary footage for the campaign.
  • Ensure the safe handling and operation of all equipment during filming.
