A heartfelt HBO documentary recreation is casting for the role of Patrick, a bright and kind-hearted teenager whose journey shifts from cheerful optimism to physical and emotional distress. This non-speaking role is central to the storyline and requires an actor with the ability to express a wide emotional range without dialogue. The production includes scenes in simulated cold conditions and explores themes of vulnerability, survival, and loss. Filming will take place in New Jersey, with a focus on authenticity and sensitivity.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Patrick, a 15-year-old athlete and musician, in scenes that evolve from playful to critical

• Express emotions including joy, fatigue, panic, and fear non-verbally

• Perform in physically demanding, cold-weather environments

• Collaborate with the creative team to deliver an emotionally compelling and respectful portrayal

Requirements

• Male, Caucasian, must appear 15 (but be 18+), short blonde hair, athletic but thin build

• Must not be claustrophobic

• Strong non-verbal acting skills essential

• Comfortable working in cold simulated conditions

• Must be able to handle emotionally heavy material with care and professionalism

• Willingness to sign NDA for confidential production details

Compensation

• $600/day + 20% agency fee

• Wardrobe stipend provided if personal clothing is used

• Gear and haircut stipends available if required by production
