This non-speaking role offers the opportunity to portray a complex character grounded in truth and resilience. The performance requires strong physical presence, emotional range, and comfort working in simulated cold environments. Joel’s arc moves from leadership to vulnerability as he confronts danger and fear head-on.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Joel, a senior and experienced climber, navigating intense emotional and physical moments

• Perform in scenes that include fear, shock, injury, and emotional breakdown (injury portrayed by stunt double)

• Participate in cold-weather filming, both indoors and on location

• Collaborate with directors and fellow cast members to authentically represent real-life events

Requirements

• Male, age 18+ (must appear 17), with short curly brown hair

• Strong non-verbal acting skills essential

• Must not be claustrophobic

• Comfortable in cold and physically demanding environments

• Ability to express complex emotional states such as fear, panic, and near tears

• Must be willing to sign NDA and hazard agreements

Compensation

• $600/day + 20% agency fee

• Wardrobe stipend available for use of personal clothing

• Gear and haircut stipends included if required
