World famous reputable beverage company is seeking a Brand Activation Manager. This is a unique position for a talented, outgoing candidate with a background in hospitality and an understanding of the intricacies of the food and beverage industry. Candidate with a background in marketing, PR, events, and/or sales is preferred to develop the brand portfolio by growing distribution, driving volume, and establishing effective marketing strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Building relationships with key on-premise customers
- Serve as primary contact for brand expertise/training to consumers
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Generate leads to acquire new business and open new accounts
- Support and work simultaneously with sales team to deliver top notch results
- Create out-of-the-box events for brand support
- Provide relevant social media content to promote and support brand
- Manage influencers and stakeholders
- Visit customers on-site to keep valuable relationships/accounts
- Perform quality work within deadlines and keep detailed reports of accounts visited
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 – 3 years of beverage sales experience; On-Premise, Alcohol-Beverage experience preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry
- Adept at networking, selling, and interacting with diverse groups of people
- Excellent communication and presentation/public speaking skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all members of extended sales and brand teams
- Has strong business acumen, and experience using including Microsoft Office, and Slack
- Ability to work with relevant social media channels and understand the brand’s social media strategy
- Understands how to get things done by leveraging opportunities against multiple resources
- Willingness to work unconventional hours when necessary (nights and weekends)
- Must be willing to live in the focus market (Los Angeles)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to drive/travel through the designated market area
COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- Base salary in the $85-90K range DOE
