Job Description
A live promotional event in New York City is seeking talent ages 20–40 to portray classic newsies for an experiential social media campaign in collaboration with a major streaming platform. This non-union opportunity is perfect for performers who can embody the look and energy of vintage newspaper sellers while engaging audiences in a live event setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a newsie character during a live promotional event
- Interact with attendees as directed by the production team
- Help create an immersive and authentic event experience
- Follow wardrobe and character guidelines
- Maintain professionalism throughout the event
Requirements
- Ages 20–40
- Comfortable performing in a live public setting
- Must be available for a full production day in New York City
- Men must fit a size Large top for provided wardrobe
- Women must fit a size Medium top for provided wardrobe
- Reliable, energetic, and able to follow direction
- Comfortable participating in experiential marketing and promotional events
Compensation
- $500 per day
- Additional agency fee if applicable
- Professional live event experience
