PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER

BMF is a collective of Cultural Engineers headquartered in NYC with offices in Miami, Los Angeles, and London. We are a global, full-service integrated marketing agency, specializing in event design & production, brand marketing, marketing strategy, sponsorships, publicity, and social media & influencer relations. We constantly strive to expand our offering as an agency.
Our growing and dynamic operations team is now looking for an experienced People & Culture Manager who will be responsible for working with all departments to support talent recruiting, onboarding and performance management.

At BMF, your primary mission as the People & Culture Manager is to manage the life cycle of our employee experience, from recruitment to onboarding to retention, in close collaboration with executive leadership, department heads, and hiring managers. You are collaborative, confident, communicative, resourceful, and work as an ambassador of the BMF brand to attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
What a day in the life will look like:
Throughout the day you will be responsible for:
- Project lead the recruitment process.
- Onboarding new employees and freelancers to ensure full integration
- Spearheading the performance management process (annual KPIs, annual performance review process, quarterly check-ins by supervisors).
- Overseeing all benefits in coordination with service providers (401K, ADP).
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing grievances and other issues.
- Owning and manage all aspects of HR data management, to ensure client and agency policy compliance including but not limited to OSHA law, employment law, incident documentation, etc.
- Nurturing a positive working environment and being a role model and spokesperson for company values.
What you need to succeed at BMF:
You have:
- 5 years of demonstrated success in past HR related roles
- High level of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
- Accountable self-starter with excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Highly organized and deadline-oriented focus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation Details:
- Ultra-low-budget rates in accordance with ULB guidelines. Specific rates will be provided upon offer.
