An HBO documentary recreation is casting for the role of Susan, a senior high school student with a nurturing spirit and quiet strength. This non-speaking role centers on Susan’s leadership and compassion as she guides her peers through a crisis with courage and grace. A physically active performance, this role is ideal for an actor who can convey steadiness, empathy, and bravery under pressure. Filming will take place in cold, snowy simulated conditions and is based on real-life events.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Susan, a supportive and mature student leader, in emotionally resonant scenes

• Lead fellow students through difficult situations with calm, confidence, and care

• Express a range of emotions including joy, concern, and resilience through non-verbal performance

• Participate in physically demanding scenes in snowy environments

Requirements

• Female presenting, age 18+ (must appear 17), Caucasian

• Short curly brown hair

• Must not be claustrophobic

• Comfortable working in cold and active conditions

• Strong non-verbal acting skills essential

• Must be able to handle emotionally sensitive subject matter with empathy

Compensation

• $400/day + 20% agency fee

• Wardrobe stipend available for use of personal clothing

• Gear and haircut stipends included if requested by production
