An HBO documentary recreation is casting for the role of Ed, a seasoned and spirited climber who must face the emotional and physical demands of a life-threatening situation. This non-speaking role is physically intense and emotionally charged, perfect for an actor with the ability to embody determination, vulnerability, and frustration. Ed’s character offers both warmth and resilience as he navigates extreme conditions. Filming will occur in cold, snowy environments and is based on real events.
Job Responsibilities

Portray Ed, an experienced mountaineer with a jovial but emotional demeanor

Perform in high-intensity scenes involving physical struggle and emotional endurance

Show emotional shifts from confidence to overwhelm and frustration

Participate in physically demanding, cold-weather scenes involving snow and rescue efforts
Requirements

Short brown hair, long face, and square jaw

Must not be claustrophobic

Compensation

$400/day + 20% agency fee
