Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, advertising, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in people management (this person will have a team of 2-3)
  • Experience with various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Doximity, Instagram, etc.)
  • Experience with social media and marketing management tools (Hootsuite, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Knowledge/understanding of velocity

Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our client’s team in the Memphis area. This person will be responsible for developing and overseeing strategic digital media plans, editorial calendars, and content that appeals to customers, scientists, and oncologists with the goal of growing and maintaining followers on social media platforms. They will lead social listening efforts and create and present analytical reports based on campaign performance. They will use these reports to adjust campaign strategies and tactics as needed for peak performance. They will also act as a liaison to other members of the Strategic Communication, Education and Outreach department for a variety of projects, whether it’s website redesign, video projects, owned assets, etc. Additionally, they will be responsible for tracking industry trends in news and social media and identifying new opportunities for engagement. Finally, this candidate will oversee management of campaigns to ensure brand consistency, maintain brand, and company awareness through social media channels.
