THE OPPORTUNITY
The Art Director is responsible for the visual style of communications used for, and not limited to print, experiential, instore POS, magazines, product packaging, all digital media, web design etc.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Responsible for generating strategically sound ideas and concepts solo, or in tandem with a Copywriter
- Execute layouts to deliver on objectives of project briefs
- Oversee consistency, compliance with regulatory bodies, and manage evolution of brands from creative perspective
- Producing sketches, storyboards, art layouts based on approved concepts and ideas
- Understanding our clients marketing and business strategy and target audiences
- Responsible not only for developing visual styles, and guides, but designing final creative as well
- Able to delegate responsibilities to designer(s) as well as provide clear direction on final artwork
- Responsible for presenting and selling work to clients and internal team members
- Responsible for keeping on top of all trends and best practices
- Willing to work on alcohol and cannabis related clients
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Friendly, positive, can-do attitude
- Proficient in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint
- Creative and conceptual while remaining focused on the client’s objectives and goals
- Results-focused, self-starter, highly motivated and detail-oriented with a high level of energy/high sense of urgency, with an understanding of time-sensitivity
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
