Job Description
A detergent campaign in Toronto is searching for talented dancers to perform in a motion capture project. All genders, ages 19 to 45, are encouraged to apply. The campaign is an artistic study of movement and quality, capturing the essence of floating fabric and expressive choreography. Dancers with backgrounds in contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and ballroom are preferred. Partner dancers are also highly encouraged to submit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform original choreography for a motion capture shoot

  • Participate in rehearsals and on-set production

  • Submit a recent dance reel for the audition process

  • Wear motion capture suits for filming

  • Adhere to styling requirements (hair pulled back, faces unrecognizable on camera)

  • Collaborate with choreographers and production team

Requirements

  • Ages 19–45, all genders

  • Strong background in contemporary, jazz, hip hop, or ballroom dance

  • Partner dance experience is a plus

  • Ability to submit self-tape and dance reel

  • No face tattoos or features that may impact motion capture

  • Not suitable for those with claustrophobia or who are uncomfortable in motion capture suits

  • Professional attitude, reliability, and readiness for creative direction

Compensation

  • Rehearsal fee: $800 for 8 hours

  • $2,000 for a 10-hour shoot day

  • All-inclusive buyout, $800 if applicable
