Assistant Editor 

We are hiring an Assistant Editor to join our hard working, and incredibly talented production team. This is a full-time contract position through November 2022.   

About Us 

A|L Media is an award-winning strategic and public affairs media firm.  We work with political and issue-oriented campaigns across the country. 

 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Prepare projects for editors and producers by pulling, transcoding, syncing, and logging existing or original footage, and assembling edits.
  • Media management, asset organization and deliverable for broadcast/web
  • Music edits and searches
  • Clipping and transcoding web content
  • Slating/Mastering commercials for broadcast and the various online social media networks

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years assistant editing experience
  • Technically proficient in all video codecs and formats and the ability to transcode between them flawlessly
  • Experience working with a variety of camera workflows for post-production
  • Proficient in Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, and After Effects
  • Expert in organizing, logging, and media-managing multiple projects
  • Detailed, meticulous, and organized personality
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Resourceful and solution-oriented attitude and expertise in troubleshooting
  • Color correcting experience a plus

Compensation
