POSITION TITLE: ASSOCIATE FILM PRODUCER

JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate Film Producer is a critical member of the Film and Motion team and reports to the Executive Producer. The Associate Film Producer’s primary responsibility is to support the Senior Producer and the Executive Producer in managing all production needs of the department. These supporting responsibilities include but are not limited, requesting casting auditions, music searches, building shot lists for animators, being point of contact for outside vendors, and producing jobs independently. Our producers must have a creative eye, offering their opinions and solutions. Everyone at MOD has the freedom and is encouraged to be heard.

RESPONDSIBILITIES:

– Coordinate motion design projects.

– Coordinate film editing projects.

– Support live action production in any capacity.

– Maintain and drive clear and constant communication with account and creative teams regarding status, approvals, revisions, etc.

– If partnering with an outside vendor they are the point of contact between the vendor and the agency.

– Create production schedules and timelines in partnership with Project Management and Account Management.

– Partner with editors and motion designers to ensure proper technical and creative specs are delivered on time.

– Partner with editors and motion designers to continually ensure they have the appropriate assets for their projects.

– Request voice over auditions.

– Produce and attend voice over sessions

– Produce and attend virtual recording sessions.

– Request and coordinate closed captioning.

– Schedule and run internal reviews for videos.

– Ensure editors and motion designers possess and execute all internal and external feedback.

– Conduct music and stock footage searches.

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Experience 1-3 years as entry level producer or production assistant with hands-on production and post-production experience.

– Ad Agency experience preferred.

– Ability to handle multiple projects and meet demanding deadlines.

– Strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills.

– Team oriented and self-motivated.

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Roles are open for Production Assistants, Camera Operators with drone experience, and Audio Technicians. Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the production team to execute shoot-day operations

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of gear, locations, and production zones

  • Operate cameras or drones to capture high-quality footage (Cam Ops)

  • Record clean, crisp audio on set using professional equipment (Audio Techs)

  • Maintain a professional, on-time presence throughout production days

Requirements

  • Previous on-set experience in your applied role

  • Ability to travel to one of the listed production cities

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

  • For Cam Ops: drone experience and access to drone kit

  • For Audio Techs: own audio kit

Compensation

  • Production Assistant: $220/12

  • Camera Operator/Drone: $650/12 + $150 drone kit fee

  • Audio Technician: $650/12 + $300 kit fee
