Townsquare Media Boise has an open opportunity to co-host the midday show on KCIX-FM (Mix 106) and produce the Brooke & Jeffrey Show on KSAS (103.5 KISS-FM). Along with great on-air skills, we’re looking for a strong content creator and someone to be the champion of the station on the streets – you must be a 360 talent to propel the brand to new heights.

Responsibilities

  • Produce morning drive show from 6 am to 10 am.
  • Host midday program and be live on air 10 am to12 pm Monday Friday.
  • Spend time each day doing daily show prep.
  • Entertains and informs the listener audience both on the air, via digital content, and social media outlets.
  • Publish a minimum of 2 original local articles per day on the station website and mobile app.
  • Write assigned Facebook posts along with other social media platforms.
  • Conducts on-air interviews, attends and assists in all market cluster live events, and produces commercials on a daily basis.
  • Conducts Live Remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities.

Qualifications

  • History of original written digital content
  • Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations.
  • Must have superior knowledge of current events and CHR/Hot AC
  • Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels, multi-task, and handle pressures and deadlines.
  • Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment.
  • Quickly become proficient in NexGen and Adobe Audition.
  • Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting.
  • Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing.

THE ROLE:

FloSports is looking to hire a Lead Content Producer for Varsity TV and FloCheer. The Lead Content Producer is the mastermind behind the development of Varsity TV and FloCheer’s content strategy and its implementation. The role requires a strong cheerleading background and an understanding of the nuances of the sport and its community.

The ideal candidate lives and breathes cheerleading and dance, knows the Varsity brand inside and out, has professional content creation experience and is able to bring their innovative and impactful story ideas to life through written and video content. They know the style of content the community will love and can execute consistently. The ability to effectively plan, multitask, hit deadlines, and engage our audience with engaging content is required. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a cohesive content strategy that leverages articles and videos published on our web and app platforms that engages fans, markets live events, tells compelling stories, and enhances our brand.
  • Turn your unique ideas into original content by tapping into internal resources, including a team of professional video shooters and editors, and external resources, such as a contract labor budget that will allow you to assemble and manage a team of all-star freelancers.
  • You will work with your team in content creation meetings, brainstorming to come up with content strategies that will grow and engage the community and constantly improve by eliciting and listening to feedback from your audience.
  • Cover live events and travel to gather in-person content with top personalities in the sport—facilitate interviews, capture behind-the-scenes moments, and gather footage to tell stories.
  • Host entertaining, informational video segments that may include remote and in-person interviews, shows and vlogs.
  • You’ll make sure the content you create is in line with our unique voice and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and pitch video and written content ideas, including documentary films.
  • Use a proprietary digital content management system to publish and feature relevant, timely, compelling content.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Expert knowledge in cheer/dance
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college
  • Strong connections with key figures (athletes, coaches, etc.) within the community

Job Description

The Mill NY VFX Executive Producer – Content (EP) is a management position. The EP – Content must have an excellent understanding of The Mill’s strategic goals and be instrumental in delivering increased sales and in encouraging greater bottom line profit. EP is primarily an outwardly orientated, client facing role, requiring excellent communication skills and the fostering and development of extremely strong client relationships.

The Mill NY EP – Content must also have a very thorough understanding of the Mill production pipeline in order to maximise the use of resources and to oversee the smooth production of projects through the company.

Management Structure

The EP – Content reports to the Mill NY Director of Production and must work closely alongside the Head of Content in NY to form a mutually supportive structure to allow The EP and the NY Head of Content to manage the live action production department together as a team. It is vital that both The EP and Head of Content work closely with our reps and the EP/Director of Production of Mill LA to ensure the best communication regarding bidding and execution of projects, to ensure we take full advantage of sales/project opportunities and that Mill resources are as well utilised as possible.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Highly proactive in the task of winning new business with an exclusive focus on live action projects. Targeting clients and accounts to be won by The Mill and define client specific strategies to win business.
  • Provide support to the live action production department in NY and ensure excellent communication and the careful handover of projects from the bidding stage to the line production stage of a project.
  • Work along side the Head of Content and other key partners in looking for new director talent and rounding out our roster of directors.
  • Bid live action projects
  • Monitor the satisfaction of existing clients and ensure that they continue to use The Mill.
  • Maximise revenue and utilisation of The Mill NY by having an overview of the work going through each site(NY/LA) and encouraging effective scheduling and efficiency of resources.
  • Develop and maintain an ‘ear’ to the market and disseminate relevant information to the production team and key staff at The Mill.
  • Work closely with our reps to help define potential clients, sales/marketing opportunities and PR exercises both on a short term and a long term ‘bigger picture’ basis.

Mentoring/other Responsibilities

  • To oversee quotations and sales pitches with clients as necessary with more junior members of production.
  • To ensure that quality standards and good working practices are met on all projects undertaken by the department.
  • To develop, train, motivate and support all people in the department.
  • Monitor, and take steps to care for, creative operators’ welfare while also providing balanced protection for our clients and upholding the level of service/work they should expect from The Mill.
  • Promote the advancement of new Mill offerings both internally and externally (in-house directing, cross platform content, volume/relationship driven workflow etc.)
  • On a regular basis, meet with heads of other Mill departments.

Overview

  • To ensure that there is healthy communication between production and other departments within the company to aid overall communication and to better working relationships, especially with the operators and artists that work directly with the production staff.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years as either a Senior Producer or Executive producer focusing on live action with experience at either a production company or other vfx company with live action offerings.

Shoot To Kill NYC is currently seeking a Digital Content Producer with experience in creating episodic, story-driven content for OTT platforms, television, or similar web-based content, to work on an original documentary series rooted in the world of college sports.

We’re looking for a passionate storyteller who is a creative and strategic thinker and can work with our production team(s) and in the post-production process to ensure work is completed on-time, on-budget, and at the highest possible level. Our candidate has a solid skill set in creative storytelling, communicating, and extensive production experience.

This position is remote and will report to the Executive Producer. It is a contract-based opportunity and would start immediately with up to a 1-year contract. Qualified candidates should submit resumes, portfolios with links to relevant work, and references. Candidates who are passionate and knowledgeable about college sports are a huge plus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research, write and develop original compelling stories in conjunction with EP
  • Establish and manage production crews and resources in multiple markets in parallel
  • Track and manage budget and expenses throughout the production process
  • Facilitate outreach and communication with 3rd parties in connection to archival media materials while holding thorough knowledge of all media, created internally or retrieved via 3rd parties
  • Work with post-producer to organize and catalog all media captured and received
  • Support Executive Producer and creative team, during pitch, development, and production
  • Communicate with our internal and client teams effectively to ensure expectations are set and all deliverables are met on schedule
  • Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness to meet project milestones, internal team needs, client expectations, and feedback
  • Provide clear and concise written and verbal communications providing details required for both the post-production team and end client
  • Collaborate on the creative direction through post-production, giving notes on outlines, scripts, and cuts
  • Manage client expectations while tracking client feedback closely for the team

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated work experience within a production agency or client-facing organization 
  • Proven experience in the development and creation of original series
  • Extensive experience leading productions from start to finish including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Possess a strong creative perspective with a deep understanding of production and post-production processes
  • Must be able to manage client expectations and feedback, while staying on schedule
  • Follow legal requirements and guidelines set forth by the client for productions
  • Strong decision-making skills for the moment, and the bigger picture
  • Ability to manage and balance multiple ongoing productions at once
  • Ability to work independently, remotely, but also collaborate within a virtual team environment
  • Ability to track and share internal feedback, client feedback, and communications

Job Summary:

The Content Producer is an integral part of Superfly’s production team. The Producer will work with our other internal teams to create an efficient and sustainable production process for video content across Superfly’s agency division. This role is responsible for setting the vision, operation, quality control, and fiscal responsibility for content production. Taking the client and creative team’s visions, this role will execute a strong finished product delivered on time and on budget. This role is paramount in elevating the Superfly creative product with regards to content production and growth in that area.

Your responsibilities will include:

The Content Producer will oversee the creation of productions and content ranging from company events, webcasts, branded series, promotional campaigns including social/digital and associated audio/visual components. Day-to-day tasks include all facts of project management and hands on production work at events and shoots including remote, in-studio, and on location. This role requires someone who is focused, well organized, creative, and able to continually prioritize as well as balance multiple projects.

  • Drive Superfly’s overall Content Production processes and procedures
  • Help ideate, guide, and evolve Superfly’s work product, leveraging experience in Content production
  • Own overall responsibility for production of content projects
  • Manage, from start to finish, all aspects of content production for our client projects
  • Lead and manage the content production practices with respect to key agency operation teams, including finance, accounting, IT, human resources, and legal
  • Work with creative and business leadership teams on projects to identify content opportunities and solutions
  • Generate and track estimates and budgets for Superfly’s video content projects in partnership with internal and external teams
  • Oversee booking and contracting of production companies and crews
  • Build and manage, workback schedules, runs of show and production schedules
  • Create and manage delivery guidelines, QC process, and production calendars, ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Create and maintain a database of vendors, crews, and production resources, ensuring access to a diverse pool of capable resources including but not limited to: editors, graphics artists, post houses, animators, sound mixers, shooters, directors etc
  • Work with event operations team, both internal and external, to ensure seamless video production on the ground
  • Oversee vendors from outreach to engagement and contracting through the project and final reconciliation and billing process
  • Partner with VP, Production on resource allocation for new projects, identify gaps to ensure project flow and success
  • Collaborate with Event Producers on timeline, budgeting, and tracking of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work with the accounting team to ensure A/P invoices are coded correctly and paid on time and A/R is collected and credited to the appropriate project
  • Execute the day to day management of content workflows in conjunction with project support teams including scheduling calls and meetings, meeting preparation, travel coordination.
  • Manage and update various content production specific departmental documents
  • Track executed contracts, ensure invoices from vendors/producers are processed, tracked, and paid in a timely manner
  • Manage video archive pulls, footage logs, music licenses, and delivery of content
  • Manage and coordinate Post Production requests and media assets.
  • Develop shot lists in tandem with creative department
  • Work with creative department to help brainstorm content concepts and develop plan for execution of creative concepts
  • Work with creative department to secure all necessary assets (music, VO talent, graphics assets, etc.)
  • Oversee edits and serve as post supervisor/liaison between production team and creative/account teams

The Winston-Salem Journal, a subsidiary of Lee Enterprises, is seeking an Advertising Content Producer. This person would join an elite, multi-media company. The best candidates will have a burning desire to be a part of a world-class sales organization. They will have day-to-day responsibilities for video production and editing and social content development to support sales department and advertisers with special projects and events across the Triad. Essential Job Functions:

  1. Shooting on location and editing advertising videos, short and long form.
  2. Primary content producer for advertising special products and events
  3. Social media management for various special products and event social accounts to include but not limited to food pages (Burger Week, Restaurant Week, Barbecue Week), 7 Over Seventy, Inspire Women’s Event, Winston-Salem Monthly, and more
  4. Attend and shoot video content for various company and community events as it applies to advertising initiatives, will require some evening hours.
  5. Facebook Lives for advertisings and related events.
  6. Graphic Design duties as needed for social media, in-house creative needs
  1. Proactive communication with sales reps and clients to help execute campaign fulfillment and build relationships
  2. Adhere to all deadlines and assist reps in meeting deadlines
  3. Assist with campaign execution and client communication for advertiser related projects
  4. Attend weekly sales meetings

Preferred Experience / Qualifications:

  1. Intermediate videography skills to include shooting, audio, lighting and editing
  2. Graphic Design for social posts, digital ads, print design experience or knowledge preferred.
