JOB SUMMARY:  The Content Producer will work directly with client services and business affairs to help manage various projects that will go from concept through delivery. This is a hands-on position with ownership in managing project timelines, and any conflicts that arise from development and through the production process.

 

This role requires a focus on problem solving and the ability to find the best solution to changing scope and deliveries by understanding how to quickly pivot to a new direction. In this role you will work closely with business affairs. creatives, clients and client services on various projects that can be original production requests all the way to versioning existing content. Our Producers are also passionate about being content creators for social and other content needs, if and when needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide status updates for creative projects you own.
  • Collaborate with Resource Management on project expectations and creative needs to properly forecast and assign appropriate resources.
  • Collaborate directly with assigned creatives by briefing them on project guidelines, expectations and timelines.
  • Organize all necessary details, direction and specs to ensure the team can execute in a timely manner
  • Update budgets with project details.
  • Plans and manages versioning schedules and oversees post production artists to ensure that timelines are met.
  • Oversees day-to-day localization workflow ensuring all projects and operations are running smoothly.
  • Ensures a standard of consistency, accuracy and excellence across all localized deliverables.
  • Forecasting deliverables, dependencies, and anticipate obstacles.
  • Communicate daily on task & project status with team and Resource Management.
  • Proactively communicate forecasting details to internal team and client.

About the Role

As a Creative Producer, you are responsible for the overall management, execution, and final delivery of creative content. Experience in all creative & content deliverables accepted, but specifically motion graphics/animations and live video shoot production experience required.

DURATION:

Client Management:

    • Maintaining and fostering positive client relationships
    • Sharing client/project information + challenges to colleagues to foster a mutually supportive environment
    • Managing client expectations on budget, timelines, project progress, etc

Budget Management:

    • Developing creative deliverable budgets, working with the account, creative, production and technical teams to adequately scope for the project
    • Providing weekly updates on hours/budget within each project, pulling weekly reports on timekeeping program
    • Approving vendor/contractor invoices against budget line items

Project Management:

    • Setting up projects, with clear objectives, in the project management system and up keep of schedules, tasks, budgets
    • Establishing and communicating timelines and expectations with internal staff in line with client expectations
    • Responsible for collaborating with Traffic Management to schedule creative resources within a software system
    • Developing project briefs for each kick-off meeting with creative teams
    • Overseeing and driving creative excellence and brand integrity within the project both internally and externally
    • Retrieving and providing the required assets for projects and maintaining the approved file structure
    • Overseeing weekly project status updates with interdepartmental teams and/or supervisor
    • Prioritizing and manages multiple tasks and deadlines
    • Providing debrief feedback with designers and production

Production (Video Shoots):

    • Assign and manage key production positions such as Video Director, Director of Photography, and Lighting and audio crew members
    • Scout and secure filming locations
    • Cast and hire professional talent
    • Facilitating the exchange of information between client and production crew members
    • May be required to conduct interviews and direct on-screen talent as needed
    • Familiarity with HD and 4K professional cameras (Canon C300, Sony F700, Red Epic or similar) required
    • Familiarity with basic lighting, grip and audio recording equipment for studio and field production required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 + years in project management related to video production, motion graphics, brand design, marketing, digital content channels for creative agencies
  • 5 + years on-set experience producing live video shoots
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop) preferred
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and make effective decisions to balance creative constraints
  • Knowledge of Brand and Identity development a plus
  • Knowledge of information architecture, UI and UX Design a plus

    • Continually explore new and creative ways to grow digital audience by devising innovative approaches to social media strategies
    • Develop original ideas and produce content for social media and digital platforms as needed
    • Find ways to leverage our traditional assets to drive digital engagement, and vice versa
    • Conduct regular analysis of OMNI’s digital properties
    • Increase consumption of content across all platforms, including smart speakers and podcasting
    • Track key performance metrics and build out regular reports encompassing digital, audio, video and social platforms
    • Collaborate to achieve audience and revenue goals
    • Work to help respond quickly to cultural moments and audience interests


    What you will bring…

    • Strong understandsting of digital storytelling
    • News background (education or experience)
    • Candidate should be passionate about building an audience on digital and social media (create innovative posts on Insta, TikTok, Twitter)
    • Assemble various media forms: audio, video, images for the web
    • Have excellent communication skills – fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin preferred
    • Knowledge and understanding of the OMNI brand
    • Comfortable in working closely with teammates and brainstorming ideas & executing them
    • Ability to work on WordPress, Adobe Premier Pro and editing software
    • Comfortable working independently with other language teams
    • Strong work ethic with excellent written and verbal communication
    • An ability to work independently and across teams
    • Familiarity with SEO content strategies
    • A desire to continually learn
    • Knowledge and understanding of the OMNI brand
