Job Description
An independent short film is seeking an experienced Special Effects (SFX) Makeup Artist to create realistic burn scar effects for a production filming in the Los Angeles/El Segundo area. The production is looking for an artist with demonstrated experience in realistic prosthetic or makeup effects for film.
Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Create realistic burn scar makeup effects for the face and arms.
- Collaborate with the director and production team to achieve the desired look.
- Apply and maintain SFX makeup throughout filming as needed.
- Ensure continuity of makeup across production days.
Requirements
- Experience creating realistic burn scar or prosthetic makeup effects.
- Available to work on August 15 and/or August 16.
- Able to work in the Los Angeles/El Segundo area.
- Portfolio or previous SFX work is preferred.
Compensation
- Rate negotiable based on experience.
