An independent character-driven TV pilot titled Preston is now casting lead and supporting actors for a paid non-union production filming in Brooklyn, New York. The project explores themes of identity, environment, and personal adjustment through the story of a young man navigating a new life in Brooklyn.

Casting directors are seeking grounded and natural performers for emotionally rich lead and supporting roles. The production is planned for the festival circuit and local New York hires are preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Selected actors may be responsible for:

• Performing scripted lead or supporting roles in the TV pilot
• Participating in rehearsals and scene work
• Bringing authentic and emotionally grounded performances on camera
• Collaborating with the director and production team
• Attending filming dates in Brooklyn, New York

Casting Call for Real Trades People – Non-Union Commercial

Job Description: We are seeking real tradespeople for an upcoming non-union commercial shoot in Baltimore. We are specifically looking for individuals who are woodworkers, carpenters, electricians, or similar tradesmen. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and be featured in a professional commercial.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the commercial shoot, demonstrating your trade skills.
• Follow directions from the director and production team to capture authentic and engaging scenes.
• Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the filming process.
• Bring your own tools if possible (woodworking tools, carpentry tools, electrician tools, etc.).

Requirements:

• Male, aged 30-40 years old.
• Black and Latino ethnicity.
• Strong build with facial hair.
• Must be a real tradesperson (woodworker, carpenter, electrician, etc.).
• Non-union.
• Local to Baltimore (no transportation provided).
• Available for filming on July 10th and 11th.

Compensation Details:

• $500 per shoot day.
• $1,000 usage fee.
• Total compensation of $1,500 per person.
• Meals and snacks provided during shoot days.
• An opportunity to be featured in a commercial and gain exposure for your trade skills.

Casting Call: Actors/Models for “Bookstore Friends” Photo Shoot

Job Description: We are seeking dynamic individuals to fill the roles of friends in a bookstore setting for a promotional photo shoot. The selected candidates will be part of a vibrant scene that captures the essence of friendship and the joy of exploring books together. This photo shoot aims to portray a diverse and energetic group of friends engaging with each other and the literature around them in a cozy bookstore environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a photo shoot at a bookstore, portraying the role of a friend among a group.
• Interact naturally with other cast members and props to create authentic and engaging scenes.
• Follow the photographer’s directions to achieve the desired poses and expressions.
• Maintain high energy and a positive attitude throughout the shoot.

Requirements:

• Age: Must be between 18-25 years old

• Availability: Must be available on the specified date for the entire duration of the shoot.
• Transportation: Must be able to provide your own transportation to the shoot location in Maryland or Virginia.

Compensation Details:

• Rate: $500 for one day of work
• Date of Shoot: April 9-11 (talents will only be required to work on one of these dates, to be determined)
