The Studio at Situation Group crafts award-winning work for the world’s leading entertainment, education and mission-driven brands. The Studio seeks a Senior Producer & Editor to join a new field production crew dedicated to our Broadway, arts and entertainment clients. This role will report to the Director of Video and Events Development and is a full-time role of 40+ hours per week within our Manhattan office and the local NYC field.

The selected candidate will be a true Producer and Video Editor hybrid with creative and logistical producing chops, motion design and animation skills, and an affinity for writing and working within the Broadway live entertainment space.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Producer & Editor will lead a 2-3 person field production crew, managing and working with a dedicated camera operator to craft, shoot and edit fast-turnaround video creative. The ideal candidate is nimble, thrives in creating news-style content and knows how to make the most out of a media opportunity. The field production crew is a subset of the Video and Events department and will work alongside producers, editors, project managers, copywriters, designers, creative directors and account service staff.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Manage Camera Operator in the field and the office
  • Handle logistics for field video production, such as scheduling, resourcing, equipment, location scouting, permits, shot lists, call sheets, signage and release forms
  • Manage capture and crew on-set, working with clients, talent and celebrities
  • Facilitate red carpet and on-the-fly interviews
  • Estimate project costs and track budgets
  • Concept and write interview questions and other writing assignments
  • Oversee copy and design tasks in the Studio
  • Edit, animate, and handle post-production for short and long-form digital, social and broadcast use
  • Color correct and mix audio for digital/social content
  • Manage file transfers and media
  • Conduct research and gather knowledge relevant to our clients

Requirements

  • 8+ years of similar experience at a creative agency, studio, TV network or
  • film industry (including 4+ years of editing and animation)
  • 2+ years experience managing direct reports
  • Expert knowledge of video production processes, production equipment and industry trends
  • On-set experience producing shoots and interviewing/directing talent
  • Demonstrated writing ability with a journalistic lean
  • Advanced understanding and use of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Color correction, grading and audio mixing skills
  • Excellent organization, time management and attention to detail
  • Exemplary communication and problem-solving skills
  • Full understanding of digital, social and broadcast output specifications
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work odd hours at short notice (nights and weekends) and occasional overtime
  • Bonus skills include SAG-AFTRA and/or AFM knowledge, Broadway and/or livestream experience
  • Work samples/reel required for consideration

The Studio seeks a Paid Search Manager with 4+ years of experience to join our Search team. The selected candidate will demonstrate exceptional experience in paid search, developing, managing and optimizing campaigns.

What You’ll Do

As a Paid Search Manager, you will be responsible for developing the strategic approach and executing paid search campaigns across our roster of incredible clients for assigned accounts. We’re looking for an eager, self-motivated and highly experienced professional for this position.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of search strategies based on client goals and objectives
  • Recommend strategies for moving the business forward, from the traditional to experimental
  • Create, analyze and optimize search campaigns for your assigned clients
  • Develop search account structures, campaigns, keywords, ad copy, ad extensions, etc.
  • Perform in-depth campaign reporting and analysis based on KPIs and historical trends
  • Extract data-driven, actionable insights to inform search strategy and planning
  • Recommend testing strategies and optimizations to improve overall campaign performance
  • Maintain knowledge of clients business, competition, and latest industry news and trends
  • Be the main point of contact for assigned clients, coordinating with client teams (internal and external) to ensure alignment on search strategy, keyword coverage, program details, and deadlines
  • Present strategies and recommendations to clients and internal teams in relatable terms
  • Manage paid search campaigns in Search Ads 360
  • Have proven experience developing, managing, and optimizing search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (experience with Search Ads 360 is preferred and Apple Search Ads is a plus)
  • Have meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Have strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Have exceptional organizational skills
  • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Effectively manage client budgets, always ensuring campaigns are at their maximum efficiencies

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience working in paid search, developing, managing, and optimizing campaigns (agency experience is preferred and SEO experience is a plus)
  • Experience working with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms
  • Experience working with a search campaign management platform (preferably Search Ads 360)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent writing skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills and multitasking capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (+ Google Workspace versions)
  • Proficient in all vendor interfaces and tools to be able to set up and manage campaigns
  • Experience working with Google Analytics to evaluate performance is preferred
  • Experience working with the Apple Search Ads platform is a plus
  • Google Ads Search certification; Google Analytics certification is a plus
  • Experience with tag management, implementation, event tracking, and data layers is a plus

The Studio seeks a Production Designer with a background in print and digital mediums. This role will report to the Project Management Supervisor and support our clients in the arts, entertainment, nonprofit and higher education space.

What You’ll Do

The Production Designer works collaboratively with Art Directors, Copywriters, and other Designers to craft deliverables that support advertising campaigns across various mediums, including print, digital, and video. A key aspect of this role is print production and the ability to prep and release print files and mechanicals.

Our office is located in midtown Manhattan, and we are currently working in-office three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Adapt, refine, and organize digital and print assets such as display media creative, paid social media ads, emails, and print materials.
  • Codify, archive, and update graphic files.
  • Ensure that our client’s brands are consistently represented through stunning and clear designs for print, digital, video and more.
  • Prepare client- and vendor-ready files across digital and print
  • Develop organized and annotated working files that can be easily used as templates for future projects.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and streamline processes within the production design team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver creative solutions with measurable outcomes.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience as a Production Artist (freelance or full time) in an agency setting
  • A portfolio showcasing polished, well-thought design in lead and hands-on roles
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign)
  • Expert print production proficiency and experience (projects including but not limited to out-of-home, direct mail, traditional publication placements)
  • Experience setting up print-ready files and mechanicals
  • Eagle-eye for details like spotting alignment issues and inconsistencies
  • Strong sense of typography
  • Dynamic and confident presentation skills to pitch ideas clearly and effectively
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment
  • A deep understanding of how technical factors affect designing for both the digital space and traditional (print) space
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve efficiently, intelligently, and with positivity
  • Experience with retouching and digital compositing
