Job Description
An independent short film is hiring 1–2 Production Assistants (PAs) to support on-set operations throughout the full shoot. This role is ideal for reliable, hands-on crew members who can assist multiple departments, help keep the day running smoothly, and stay available for all scheduled shoot days.
Job Responsibilities

Assist the production team with general on-set support and day-to-day needs.

Help with runs, lockups, set resets, and keeping production areas organized.

Support crew communication and follow instructions from the AD/production team.

Assist with moving light equipment/supplies as needed (within reason).

Maintain a professional, calm attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

Must be available all days of the shoot (full availability required).

Prior PA experience is a plus, but not required.

Reliable transportation within the NYC area.

Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a team-first mindset.
