About Magnus Method:

Magnus Method is a fitness company founded by Magnus Lygdback, a celebrity trainer with over 20 years of experience. He has trained top actors, actresses, and performing artists while running a highly successful fitness app where everyone can train like a superhero. Job Description:

  • Coordinate with Magnus and other team members as necessary (including but not limited to his Creative Director/Filmmaker, Video Editing Team, Thumbnail Editing Team, Scriptwriter) on a consistent basis to discuss, brainstorm, and acquire new content.
  • Manage, prepare, schedule, and post content as directed on the Magnus Method YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms, while coordinating with team members if necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, writing and/or editing captions, titles, descriptions, tags, uploading thumbnails, and releasing content on schedule.
  • Moderate and respond to comments and messages on Magnus Method social media platforms.
  • Manage, prepare, schedule, and post content as directed on the Magnus Method website, while coordinating with team members if necessary. This includes, but is not limited to: formatting the Scriptwriter’s content as a blog post, ensuring all links are functioning, and releasing content on schedule.
  • Manage, prepare, schedule, and send content as directed on the Magnus Method email list, while coordinating with team members if necessary, and releasing content on schedule.
  • Present findings regarding establishing a Pinterest presence as well as generate board/theme ideas. Create a Pinterest account for Magnus Method. Manage, prepare, schedule, and post content on the Magnus Method Pinterest, while coordinating with team members if necessary.
  • Ensuring that in all content, links and calls to action are routinely present to drive traffic to the Magnus Method App to increase downloads, as well as to other products and services available from Magnus Method.
  • Perform other content-related duties as directed by the Magnus Method team.

  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and willingness to continue to learn as platforms evolve.

Salary and Growth:

  • You will be directly employed by Magnus Method (Playbook is helping facilitate hiring for the role)
  • This will start as a contract role with room to grow into a full time salaried position

Role Description:

Playbook is looking for a creative and energetic part-time social media producer to help build our social strategy. We are looking for someone with direct experience and a proven track record of creating and building successful social media channels (with a heavy focus on Instagram & TikTok). The ideal candidate is fully self-sufficient from conception to design to copy to tracking analytics. A passion for online fitness and the Creator Economy is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the conception and development of a social media content calendar to inspire, educate, and build community across social channels, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and email
  • Source creative, informative, and visually compelling content from ideas to execution
  • Proactively develop solutions for scaling on-brand copy across teams, projects, and channels
  • Track and report analytics and use results to inform and improve social strategy 
  • Brainstorming content on a monthly and quarterly basis 
  • Support creators with social media best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience running a successful social media account
  • Experience creating and designing social posts on your own 
  • Ability to research and write compelling copy for all posts and captions 
  • Experience building a social media process — how to scale brand and social efforts across channels
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media best practices
  • Experience with creative tools like Figma, Photoshop, Canva
  • Willing to take risks! Isn’t afraid to take chances and try new things on social media —  with the goal of driving engagement, inserting our brand into relevant conversations, and driving virality
  • Experience creating video content for social media (not required, but a plus) 
  • The ability to execute and manage paid marketing (not required but a plus)
