Job Description: Role: CONTRACTOR: Instructional Designer, Digital Learning Experience
REPORTING TO: DIRECTOR, WW Commercialization Learning Center of Excellence
Role Summary:

The Instructional Designer will work with the functions within the WW Commercialization Learning Centre of Excellence organization, various matrix teams, subject matter experts, training managers, and technology teams to design, develop, and deliver interactive and impactful digital solutions across a variety of modalities (e.g., e-modules, digital gamification, simulations, videos, qstreams, podcasts, etc.) This role will also be responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and revising digital learning content and performance metrics, while applying instructional design theory and process to create a variety of digital learning solutions that improve business results.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize instructional design principles or models (e.g. ADDIE, etc.) to design and develop trainings in a variety of modalities(e.g., ILV, vILT, e-learning, etc.), from needs analysis, design, storyboard through final deliverable, ensuring adult learning principles are applied
Apply knowledge of adult learning theory to identify and utilize new instructional technologies, innovative instructional practices, and new course delivery methods to improve the digital learner experience, appropriate to the audience learning styles, course content, audience location, point within the learning process, etc.
Apply knowledge of quality and accessibility standards
Create design documents that specify learning objectives, learning strategies, learning materials design specifications, skill application and learning impact (e.g., business results, evaluation)
Execute Copy-writing, scripting and storyboarding of learning experiences for online and hybrid courses
Use a variety of multimedia applications to compose and edit digital learning content
Review and implement new technologies and trends in digital learning
Conduct content quality reviews for user experience and usability testing
Facilitate the content design and development of workshops
Review data and produce reports to track key performance metrics associated with digital learning
Acts as liaison between third party training content developers and technology vendors as needed
Partner with subject matter experts(SME) to ensure learning design, content and outcomes meet the business need
Support evaluation strategies and tools to measure program effectiveness, and to determine whether desired learning and performance outcomes are achieved
Ensure training is reviewed by key stakeholders (e.g., regulatory, legal, SME) to ensure compliance to applicable requirements
Manage project timelines and coordinate appropriate internal resources to create high-quality, on-time deliverables that stay within scoped timeline
Qualifications
Four year Bachelors degree required preferably in instructional design or Bachelors degree and 4+ years of digital learning design experience with a focus on adult learning principles
Experience in developing digital learning content for global deployment
Extensive knowledge and experience creating learner experiences using innovative digital design technologies to develop e-learning, mobile learning, virtual instructor led learning, and video/audio productions
Demonstrated experience in partnering with business leaders, learning consultants, content developers, technology providers, and facilitators to translate business objectives into effective learning solutions
Basic understanding of authoring tools capabilities (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Articulate Storyline360, Adobe Creative Suite, XML, SCORM, HTML5, etc.)
Strong communication and influencing skills
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Drive program execution while ensuring that the project activities meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Gain technical knowledge of YARD Data Products to facilitate technical product documentation.
  • Creating visual and technical documentation of processes and data using 3rd party tools like Lucid Charts
  • Making it easier for other users to understand the current data structures and capabilities of the different data products.
  • Create processes for updating and maintenance of technical documents created.
  • Developing a central repository where documentation can be stored and accessed easily by other product stakeholder.
  • Partner with stakeholders and customers to solicit new project opportunities for presentation and approval to the project.
  • Ensure effective change control procedures and processes are efficiently used to maintain control on scope, schedule and cost.
  • Define and refine best-in-class operating processes, scaling processes from small/scrappy to large/high functioning, working closely with leadership.
  • Be accountable for your work.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2-4 years’ experience technical product management experience, working directly with software development teams at a technology or media company creating technical documentation
  • Understanding of modern technical architectures
  • Lucid Chart experience
  • Experience working with cross functional teams, building process and data documentation
  • Expert with the Atlassian suite, especially Confluence and Jira
  • Ability to create technical documents to define requirements and what has been built to meet those requirements
  • Excellent communication, and ability to synthesize and report information to senior management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Computer Science or similar technical degree
  • Relevant certifications such as Atlassian Certified Expert, Scrum Certification
  • Experience with Lucid Charts and creating technical documentation
  • Experience at a tech company, has worked on technical projects

Job Description:
The Production Manager (Producer) will be a critical matrix team partner for the Product and Engagement Planning teams, seeking to create a versatile role for marketing campaign management and execution across Digital and Print materials for a Brand book of work or a particular therapeutic area or franchise. The Producer Role is responsible for gathering estimates on production work efforts across tactics, based on established brand and engagement strategy plans for the upcoming year, ensures tactical campaigns aligned with the strategy are carried through and executed in the proper cadence, fed by content module approval and tactical activity calendar updates.

Key Responsibilities
• Obtains Production estimates for a book of work for a series of brands or Therapeutic area – provides the Production Management Lead with ongoing financial reporting across production/execution, reconciles on monthly basis.
• Cross-collaborates on the content planning timing in order to execute required campaigns
• Collaborates with Capability Leads, IT and Engagement Planner to schedule resources and plan executions
• Tracks 8 stages of cycle of campaigns and coordinates across the matrix to meet deadlines where timing may be challenged
• Is aware of KPIs and is informed of campaign analytics with Business Intelligence & Analytics to help assess content performance to prepare for course corrections and enhancements
• Performs QA and spot checking across materials for both digital and print
• Runs or attends status meetings for Brand or Therapeutic area with matrix participants
• Will learn Tools used to support project management, workflow, timelines, finances, etc. and inform improvements needed and in some cases lead a project with IT.
 
Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Campaign marketing
• 3+ years in marketing and/or activation in large complex organization
• 2+ years of Print and Digital marketing management planning and budget allocation experience
• 2+ years Project Management experience (PMP not required, but ideal)
• Familiarity with Agile Principles
• Understanding marketing data performance and how it informs decision-making
• Familiar with marketing asset specifications, templates, content management systems, workflows
• Highly organized and detailed oriented, accustomed to fast-paced settings
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write, collaborate on and edit communications and presentations where needed
• Has passion for the role, shares ideas, brings improvements forward, teaches others
• Experience managing external vendors, budgets and invoicing including vendor performance management
• P&L or knowledge of Budget Management required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Experience with all pharma marketing and launch scenarios, a plus.
