Job Description:
A non-union educational video project is casting a range of roles for a major healthcare company. The production will guide patients through the clinical trial process for multiple myeloma and is looking for professional, expressive individuals who can convey warmth, trust, and empathy in non-speaking and featured roles. This is a great opportunity for actors seeking impactful projects in the healthcare and corporate video space.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray professional and medical staff in a patient-focused educational video

  • Perform with clarity and presence in non-speaking and featured roles

  • Embody roles with authenticity, professionalism, and relatability

  • Work closely with the production team during scheduled shoot days

Requirements:

  • Must be a local hire based in or near Austin, TX (no travel or lodging provided)

  • Must be available both scheduled shoot days

  • Roles vary by character:

    • Dr. Williams: Female, 45–55, woman of color preferred, warm/professional presence

    • Andre: Male, 50–60, Black/African American preferred, non-speaking

    • Alice: Female, 50–60, Black/African American preferred, non-speaking

    • Site Staff 1: Female, any ethnicity, 30–45, non-speaking extra

    • Site Staff 2: Male, any ethnicity, 30–45, non-speaking extra

Compensation:

  • Dr. Williams: $1,000 for 1 day

  • Andre and Alice: $450/day for 2 days

  • Site Staff 1 & 2: $350 for 1 day
