Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform the role of Lyle with authenticity, bringing out his humor, brightness, and innocence.
  • Act, sing, and participate in dance or movement sequences as directed.
  • Work collaboratively with the cast, crew, and creative team during rehearsals and performances.
  • Be prepared for a structured rehearsal schedule and maintain a professional attitude in line with child performance regulations.

Requirements:

  • Scottish boys aged 9-12 with a Glasgow accent.

We are looking for working-class Scottish lads aged late teens to early twenties to play the role of Tommy. This is a paid acting role with filming scheduled from the end of January to March 2025, based in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the character Tommy, a charismatic and sometimes violent working-class boy.
  • Accurately depict Tommy’s strong moral code and self-destructive streak.
  • Showcase Tommy’s loyalty and protective nature; do right by him and he’ll do right by you, cross him and he’ll retaliate.
  • Bring authenticity and depth to Tommy’s complex character and interactions with other characters.
  • Collaborate with the director and other cast members to create a compelling and realistic portrayal.
