Job Description
A non-union independent short film is casting principal roles for a drama/comedy production filming in the Buffalo, New York area. Producers are seeking local and nearby talent for two featured speaking roles in a heartfelt story about finding purpose and meaning. This is a great opportunity for actors looking to build credits in an independent film.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a principal speaking role in an independent short film.
- Collaborate with the director and production team throughout filming.
- Bring emotional depth and authenticity to the assigned character.
- Attend scheduled rehearsals and filming as required.
Requirements
- Must be local to or able to work in the Buffalo, New York area.
- Seeking a female actor, ages 22–35, all ethnicities, for the role of Zoey.
- Seeking a female actor, ages 50–60, all ethnicities, for the role of the Older Woman.
- Must be comfortable working on an independent drama/comedy production.
- Previous acting experience is preferred.
Compensation
- $125 per day.
- Additional 10% agency fee, where applicable.
- Courtesy hotel accommodations may be provided.
- Opportunity to work on an independent short film with principal speaking roles.
