WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

leading the local implementation of our People Strategies.
• You will be a Business Partner for your Unit Manager and your other leadership colleagues, collaborating with them on all people-related issues.
• Help lead the entire business as an active and influential member of the unit’s strategic leadership team (your unit’s Steering Group).
• Lead and develop your local P&C team and encouraging them to build strong relationships throughout your unit.
• Focus on providing an excellent co-worker experience in your unit, including championing internal career growth and our many and varied development opportunities.
• Champion training, mentoring, coaching, forecasting and succession planning.
• Ensure that our national People strategy, is implemented and lives in your unit.
• Support and help drive the recruitment process in your unit by partnering with your Unit Hiring Managers and our Centralized Recruitment team.
• Implement our Co-worker Relations Plan by managing all local interactions with our co-workers, ensuring we uphold our labour relations principles and abide by local policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
• Demonstrate yourself, and encourage and train in others, a high level of problem solving, mediation and counseling skills.
• Meet financial goals by monitoring, analyzing and acting upon key P&C performance indicators.
• Regularly communicate and partner with your Market P&C Manager on escalated issues as well as regional initiatives and programs
• Lead Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and work-life balance initiatives in your unit.
• Support Health & Safety compliance, improvements and programs.

• Coach, manage, mentor and onboard new and existing team members to ensure that they succeed. This includes identifying and developing internal talent for the future.
• Establish and maintain service agreements with internal stakeholders and external partners in order to protect operational standards.
• Ensure that the departments under your function are following internal, national and global rules, regulations and policies.
• Along with other management team members, create and implement a customer-focused business plan for the upcoming fiscal year.

• 3 years minimum of Human Resources experience.

• SHRM-CP or SCP, or SPHR or PHR certification Preferred
• Demonstrated experience with all HR disciplines.
• Previous experience with talent management, development and succession, high potential management, co-worker relations, change management, employment legislation, labor market understanding and trends, coaching and mentoring.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for ensuring a qualitative and up-to-date succession plan by partnering with HR BP for legal entity, making use of global tools and processes for succession planning
• Ensures that internal investigations include an understanding of allegations, appropriate interviews, analysis and documentation, and recommendations for conclusion and course of action.
• Responsible for supporting a co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers and ensures that all areas in the legal entities work with the labour relations principles and uphold local policies, procedures and laws – working in collaboration with Co-worker Relations Manager
• Providing support and guidance to legal entity HR BP to ensure a consistent co-worker experience for all co-workers
• Secures that the location is in compliance with internal and external employment and labor standards.

The salary range for this role is $93,386-138,753
