Job Description
A major television production for HBO’s The Gilded Age is seeking background actors to portray 1880s footmen for upcoming scenes filming in Newport, Rhode Island. This is a period production requiring talent who can authentically represent the look and presence of the era. Selected talent will participate in professionally produced scenes for a high-profile series.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a 1880s footman in background scenes
- Follow direction from the production and casting team
- Maintain period-appropriate posture, movement, and behavior on set
- Attend scheduled fittings and filming dates as required
Requirements
- Height: 5’10”–6’1”
- Chest: 38–42
- Waist: 30–38
- Ability to fit period costumes
- Comfortable working on a professional TV set
- Availability for fittings and filming dates
Compensation
- SAG-AFTRA rate: $224 for 8 hours
