Job Description
A major television production for HBO’s The Gilded Age is seeking background actors to portray 1880s footmen for upcoming scenes filming in Newport, Rhode Island. This is a period production requiring talent who can authentically represent the look and presence of the era. Selected talent will participate in professionally produced scenes for a high-profile series.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a 1880s footman in background scenes
• Follow direction from the production and casting team
• Maintain period-appropriate posture, movement, and behavior on set
• Attend scheduled fittings and filming dates as required

Requirements

• Height: 5’10”–6’1”
• Chest: 38–42
• Waist: 30–38
• Ability to fit period costumes
• Comfortable working on a professional TV set
• Availability for fittings and filming dates

Compensation

• SAG-AFTRA rate: $224 for 8 hours
