JOB SUMMARY: 

Divi is seeking a talented and multi disciplined Art Director with a strong eye for design to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for delivery and execution of on-brand, market leading imagery, design and layouts that both inspire in terms of creative execution and adheres to seasonal creative direction and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong portfolio showcasing their creative skills. As Art Director, you will serve as “creative ops,” helping determine the order and process for any creative requests throughout the entire organization to ensure deadlines are met and assets are delivered on time. You will work closely with our Creative Director, Marketing Director, and Retail teams to manage timelines and expectations, as well as produce visually compelling assets that communicate our brand message effectively. The ideal candidate is not afraid to wear multiple hats, prioritize projects, and roll up their sleeves and get to work.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:

  • Conceptualize and create innovative assets for various marketing materials, including but not limited to: digital assets to support Divi’s and retail partners’ ecomm sites, advertisements, social media graphics, website banners, print collateral, packaging, digital paid media and more.
  • Support Creative Director in all aspects of creative execution, from initial concepts through production phase, including managing and organizing image selection.
  • Develop and present seasonal visual direction and marketing campaigns to the leadership team.
  • Lead and perform the detailed visual art & design direction of marketing campaigns through all stages of development for all digital and retail channels.
  • Supervise projects handled by marketing team (including email, web and social collateral). Serve as a design leader, providing guidance and feedback to team junior members.
  • Accountable for quality control and final presentation of finished collateral to senior leadership.
  • Ability to understand and articulate an omni-channel creative strategy and align with business objectives and its application in campaigns. 
  • Translate marketing objectives into creative designs that effectively communicate our brand identity and support business objectives.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs as needed.

CANDIDATE QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working through multi-channel campaigns and creative work
  • Proficiency in applicable Mac software programs, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • A well-rounded portfolio of omni-channel conceptual work, with strong design, color balance, photography, logo and typography skills
  • Self-starter personality with enthusiastic, “can do” attitude in accepting work/new challenges
  • Effective interpersonal skills, working well across functions
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that campaigns and product launches meet seasonal creative direction and support business strategies
  • High level of organization, attention to detail and innovation
  • High knowledge of current trends, somebody who lives on the bleeding edge of culture
  • Experience working in the adult beverage category is a plus
  • Very strong understanding of current design and beauty trends 
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Experience with web design and/or motion graphics is a plus.

With several factors affecting each person’s hair health, Divi strives to pioneer what it means to have a healthy “scalp health routine”. Divi has grown extremely quickly, resonating in the marketplace with men and women at a variety of different stages in their hair journey. 2024 is an important growth year for the company with big ideas on the horizon and we are looking to grow our team to help!

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE + ABILITIES: 

  1. Proven experience as a Creative or Art Director or similar role within the CPG, Health/ Wellness, Luxury Beauty, and/ or Cosmetics industries. 
  2. 5+ years of hands-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design, packaging design and brand development. 
  3. Experience managing a creative team..
  4. Excellent working knowledge of software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Asana etc. Animation skills preferred, as well as familiarity with AI platforms, such as Midjourney, Runway, etc. 
  5. Creative campaign experience across all digital marketing channels plus brick and mortar retail.
  6. Outstanding leadership and organization skills, and the ability to balance priorities from several internal stakeholders and departments. 
  7. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with counterparts, including management of external contractor resources.
  8. Video and photography experience is a plus.
  9. Must be a team player with excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  10. Experience and familiarity with design in different substrates and manufacturing/production processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and execute a compelling creative vision for evergreen brand creative and campaign creative, across owned channels, product packaging, and retail planograms and displays. 
  2. Provide strategic direction for creative initiatives and carry the direction through to execution, ensuring alignment with overall brand goals. 
  3. Work closely with the brand and cross functional teams to ensure cohesive and consistent brand representation- ie aligned messaging, and visual identity across multiple platforms and mediums (ecommerce, retail, social media, packaging, etc.) 

  1. Lead the both the pre-production, production, and post-production process for photoshoot and video capture for product launches and campaign initiatives, ensuring all department needs are met.
  2. Lead and execute the creative design process fro all creative projects  in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure all feedback is taken into consideration. Must manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines with different stakeholders in an organized and timely manner.
  3. Work in partnership with the product team for all product packaging, considering aesthetics, functional requirements and brand image. 
  4. Own all color matching and quality checks. Some on-site press check travel is required.
  5. Own and manage  the creative budget, planning spend in accordance with business objectives.
  6. Manage creative contractors and freelancers as needed.

Title: Social Media Manager

JOB SUMMARY: The Social Media manager is responsible for managing day-to-day social media functions across all channels (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and other emerging social media channels) from listening to ideation, briefing, executing and reporting. This role will also assist with content creation, coordination of co-branded giveaways, and attendance at marketing events for social capture.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing. Fashion or Beauty industry experience preferred.
  2. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  3. Exceptional oral and written communication skills – diplomacy and interpersonal skills are a necessity.
  4. Proven track record of brainstorming, launching, and concepting fun and creative content ideas for brands and influencers with results.
  5. Ability to travel as needed.
  6. Available outside of standard office hours, as social media is “always on”.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own social media execution and ensure all posts are posted/tagged correctly and go live on time across all channels.
  • Ideate and execute the social media editorial calendar and day-to-day of all social media channels according to the broader social media strategy with guidance from leadership.
  • Analyze and assess performance across social media channels. Suggest improvements and enhancements including performance of individual posts and content, as well as broad trends across platforms. 
  • Brief creative team or creative partners on social media content initiatives and provide feedback to receive finalized assets in a timely manner. 
  • Identify on-brand and quality user generated and influencer content to repurpose across social media channels.
  • Monitor social media conversation to identify burgeoning brand, industry and societal issues and opportunities.
  • Respond to comments and tagged user generated content in a timely manner, keeping brand tone and voice in mind.
  • Ad hoc iPhone content capture and editing as needed (live Instagram stories, TikTok/Reels)
  • Suggest influencer and social media brand partnerships and opportunities.
