Job Description: A Pop Entertainment is casting for an exciting and unique segment of our upcoming reality dating show, “Plate to Date.” We are seeking a charismatic and open-minded Korean American male who will be the center of a fun and lighthearted segment where he will taste various kimbap dishes prepared by different chefs. Based on the flavors and creativity of the kimbap, he will try to deduce the personalities of the chefs and select one for a 15-minute speed date.

Job Responsibilities:

• Taste kimbap prepared by different chefs on camera, providing genuine and respectful feedback.
• Engage in light-hearted conversations and interviews about the food tasting experience.
• Use the kimbap tasting experience to make assumptions about the chefs’ personalities.
• Select one chef based on the kimbap for a 15-minute filmed speed date.
• Participate in pre-shoot meetings and rehearsals as required by the production team.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and follow the directions of the production crew throughout the shoot.

Requirements:

• Must be a Korean American male, aged 21-35.
• Comfortable with being filmed and tasting food on camera.
• Outgoing, personable, and able to articulate thoughts and opinions well.
• No professional culinary experience required, but must have a genuine appreciation for food.
• Must be single and open to the concept of a blind date based on culinary experience.
• Must be available for the entire day of shooting on February 29, 2024, in New York, NY.
• Previous experience in television, film, or reality shows is a plus but not required.

Compensation:

• Flat rate of $250 for the shoot day.
• Meals and refreshments will be provided on the shoot day.
• No additional compensation for travel or accommodations.

Casting Call: Bob Marley Fans for “GOAT TALK” Episode

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a branded episode of “GOAT TALK,” a renowned series produced by Complex.
• Engage in discussions and activities related to Bob Marley and his musical legacy.
• Collaborate with the production team and other cast members to create an engaging and informative episode.
• Be available for the entire duration of the shoot on the specified date.

Requirements:

• Must be a genuine fan of Bob Marley, knowledgeable about his music, life, and influence.
• Comfortable on camera and able to express opinions and thoughts articulately.
• Aged 18 or older.
• Based in or able to travel to New York City for the shoot (travel expenses are not covered).
• Availability on the specified shoot date is mandatory.
