The EdAssist Demand Generation Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and overseeing data-driven omni-channel marketing campaigns to clients and their employees that result in new customers and increased participation rates.

What you will do:

  • Manage a team of Marketers that are accountable for driving participation and growth with our existing clients
  • Audit and assess current state with client data and provide recommendations for how data can fuel personalized, targeted campaigns to our clients and learners
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing automation team, IT, and data teams to identify new processes for EdAssist data consumption and usage
  • Identify “next best action” for online learners and develop ongoing nurture tactics to achieve EdAssist’s participation goals.
  • Promote new product, service and platform features using lead nurturing tactics.
  • Discover new marketing opportunities, channels and touchpoints by performing market analysis.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing B2B and B2E campaigns.
  • Improve KPIs on key campaigns through testing, learning and optimization.
  • Identify and create buying personas and contribute to the content development for target consumers.
  • Continuously develop new strategies to increase touchpoints within a customer’s journey in order to optimize conversion rates and key KPIs.
  • Partner with Sales to meet forecast goals for EdAssist and develop marketing strategies to fuel growth in all stages of the buying funnel with tactics that include, but are not limited to webinars, case studies, email campaigns, testimonials, etc.
  • Work with Product team to incorporate consistent product and platform positioning in prospect and customer campaigns.
  • Dive into customer and campaign data to understand audience behavior and marketing performance.
  • Create a toolkit of best practice campaigns to offer prospective clients to reach their employees.
  • Work with agency and internal creative team to develop new assets and campaigns.
  • Partner cross functionally to identify up/cross sell campaigns to increase Bright Horizon’s services (e.g. Family Solutions. Back up Care, College Coach and EdAssist)
  • Translate performance of demand generation campaigns to leadership.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Relevant Experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years of related experience

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of data and database management
  • Strong analytics capabilities specific to campaign measurement
  • CRM knowledge and full funnel lead management
  • Well versed with Martech platforms, specifically SFMC and Pardot
  • Marketing channel best practices
  • Experience in creating campaign assets including webinars, emails, and campaign testimonials
  • Lead scoring, weighting and attribution is a plus

Bright Horizons

As the Marketing Automation Manager​ you will execute and report on customer and prospect facing email marketing programs covering a portfolio consisting of demand generation, events, newsletters and retention programs. You will work closely with various stakeholders to drive campaign performance through innovative marketing strategy as well as email design and copy. You will also assist in defining company’s audience targeting strategy, testing methodology and measurement of email marketing effectiveness, and assist in the development of tools, processes and frameworks to further best practices and deliver cutting edge email marketing programs.

What you will be doing:

  • Understand the requirements of Marketing stakeholders and work with technical teams to ensure the system(s) can deliver on those requirements.
  • Create automated, multi-touch, targeted prospect and customer lifecycle digital marketing programs (both campaigns and journeys).
  • Client management of internal stakeholders acting as an internal email consultant on email marketing best practices.
  • Be accountable for quality execution and timeliness of all email projects and campaigns.
  • Monitor daily email sends and data transfer processes to ensure proper execution of email programs.
  • Report on the delivery of email campaigns and journeys as well as provide insight for optimization.
  • Provide recommendations and input on goals, objectives, strategy and email best practices.
  • Keep management in the loop on email performance against goals and objectives.
  • Work within Marketing Services and with the IT team on projects that span marketing technologies and other systems (i.e. Salesforce Sales Cloud, Google Analytics)
  • Test new fields and other system updates/changes to ensure that the business use cases and requirements are met, includes data validation to ensure that the values in the field are correct
  • Work on special projects and serve as the SME on the marketing systems across the organization
  • Audit and recommend best practices for marketing automation, oversee integration upgrades, troubleshoot issues and identify new technology enhancements to incorporate
  • Keep Marketing Automation documentation current – including naming conventions, best practices, processes, and procedures.

What we need from you:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience implementing and managing segmentation, campaigns, and journeys, preferably using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Marketing Cloud AMPScript familiarity & experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects of varying complexity; time and project management are critical skills.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, motivation, initiative and creative problem solving.
  • Understanding of persona-based marketing, targeting and segmentation.
  • Ability to think strategically while also able to “roll up your sleeves” and do the hands-on work necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of test and learn practices a plus (such as A/B Testing, Multivariate Testing, etc.)
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to, and drive change.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who both works well within a team and independently
  • Certification with Salesforce and marketing automation tools a plus.
  • HTML and Adobe Photoshop skills a plus

  • Partners with various internal stakeholders to identify strategic communication objectives and translate them into internal communications plans.
  • Plans and writes materials and collaborates with team members and partners across organization to ensure alignment, including key messages around various topics.
  • Ensures effective delivery of key messages to targeted employee audiences.
  • Plans, tracks deliverables and approvals, identifies potential conflicts, and interfaces with own team and outside teams to execute work.
  • Ensures that projects support and align with internal communications plans and strategies, follow Bright Horizons corporate brand guidelines, and maintain consistency with communications standards.
  • Uses data to design targeted and high-impact communication campaigns that increase business alignment, commitment, and team spirit, with a focus on continuity and scalability.
  • Creates content that supports various vehicles and needs, including the FORTUNE Great Place to Work application.
  • Supports other internal communications priorities in the business as needed.

What you bring:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in in Communications, English, or Journalism

Experience

5-10 years of relevant and progressively more responsible communications experience, to include internal communications work required.

Relevant experience would be considered in lieu of applicable degree
