A new film production is seeking Melbourne-based males with “sleeper builds” — individuals who appear average but possess a naturally strong or athletic physique. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional production without requiring any previous acting experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a supporting character in a film production

• Follow on-set direction from the production team and director

• Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled

• Bring natural presence and confidence to the screen

Requirements

• Male, ages 25–35

• Must be based in Melbourne, Australia

• Must have a “sleeper build” (fit, strong, or athletic look without overt muscularity)

• No prior acting experience required — just enthusiasm and reliability

• Must be available for filming starting late November 2025

Young Girl (6–9 Years Old) for Australian Feature Film

Job Details:

Barrett Casting is searching for a young girl aged 6–9 years old for a lead role in a new Australian feature film. Filming will take place in Western Australia, offering a fantastic opportunity for children to be part of a professional film production, even without prior acting experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray a key role in the feature film, ensuring alignment with the appearance and character of an older actor already cast.
• Participate in scenes involving swimming and ocean-based sequences with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Follow direction from the film’s production team for successful scene execution.

Requirements:

• Age: 6–9 years old.
• Appearance: Blonde hair and blue/green eyes to match the on-screen family.
• Skills: Confident swimmer and comfortable performing scenes on the ocean.
• Location: Must be based in Western Australia.
• Experience: No prior acting experience required—just a willingness to give it a go!
