Job Description:
Casting directors are seeking passionate and creative crew members for a series of short film reel projects in Austin, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging filmmakers and production talent to gain hands-on experience, build credits, and collaborate with directors on professional-grade projects. Final films will be showcased publicly upon completion, offering valuable exposure for participants.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with directors and production teams to bring short film projects to life

• Assist in key departments such as cinematography, sound, lighting, art direction, and editing

• Support day-of production needs, setup, and coordination

• Contribute creatively and professionally to the overall success of each project

Requirements:

• Open to cinematographers, sound designers, lighting crew, editors, art department members, and production assistants

• Must be reliable, collaborative, and enthusiastic about filmmaking

• Based in Austin, TX or able to self-report to set

• Open to working on short, single-day shoots

• Ideal for students, emerging filmmakers, and those building their reel
